Jose A. Ortiz passed away on December 4, 2022. Jose was preceded by his parents, Jose D. Ortiz and Juana Ocasio. He is survived by his loving wife Maria and his four sons, Orlando, Robert, Jose, and Richard; daughters-in-law Sytha, Frances, Kathy, and Demaris; his twelve grandchildren, Angie, Melissa, Anthony, Elizabeth, Jonathan, Krystal, Mathew, William, Josiah, Ashley, Zoneliz, and Anisia; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Meléndez Funeral Home, LLC, 30 Grove Street, Middletown, NY 10940, on Saturday, December 17, 2022, with visitation from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Mr. Ortiz had a private cremation.
